Coltt and Maggie running the barrels. Maggie has Coltt ranked 2nd as of now (3/15/04) in the Youth Rodeo Boys division at the Double B Arena in Greenfield, Iowa. 8 & Under. A big THANK YOU to The Lawyer family for letting Coltt use Mags, she has given him so much confidence.

Goat Untying

bbcolttgoatuntyin.jpg

The Goat Untying is one of Coltt's favorite events at the Double B Arena. The kids have to ride their horse down to the end of the arena, jump off the horse, grab ahold of the goat and pull the ribbon off of it's tail for the fastest time. FUN!!! Poor goats don't know what's comin at'em!

Mutton Bustin at the local Madison County Fair. Step by Step instructions on how NOT to win the buckle. Ready, Set, Bit the dust! Needless to say, after this graceful fall Coltt ended up making his way over to the rodeo ambulance to have a bandage put on his elbow. He had scraped a huge scab off that he obtained while getting bucked off his bicycle. All wasn't bad tho because with an injured cowboy walking around, the cowgirls took pity and smoothered him with attention :o)
